Boys Varsity Golf · Golf Team Season Review

It was a tough rebuilding year for the VF Golf Program, however, the team showed many positive glimpses of what is to come in their very near future.  Led by Senior Danny Przybysz, the team was able to capitalize against town rival Parma High School, and as a team, saved their best for last in a Quad Match against Parma, Normandy and Rocky River.  There, the team shot a 179, which was their best showing all year.  Even more, the team was led by Freshmen Ryan Repko’s 39, which is a new personal record. As the offseason fast approaches, the team is really excited to move toward their goals.  This year, the program had many matches that showcased the talents of underclassmen (So.) Alex Turko, (So.) Michael Jugler, (Fr.) Ryan Repko, (Fr.) Anthony Donley and (Fr.) Garrett Hollon.  With such a young and promising group gaining momentum as the season went on, this off season will be crucial toward taking that step toward their goals.  We look forward to growing as a program and becoming better each and every day!
