It was a tough rebuilding year for the VF Golf Program, however, the team showed many positive glimpses of what is to come in their very near future.  Led by Senior Danny Przybysz, the team was able to capitalize against town rival Parma High School, and as a team, saved their best for last

September 11, Another great day for VF Golf as they continue their winning ways! VF beat Columbia 186-202. The team was led by Chase Rieger (44), Isaac Rankin (45), “Danny Boy” Przybysz (47) and Olivia Nelson (50). Also, congrats to Josh Scherler, who did great in his 1st Varsity match! Go Patriots!

September 10, Big win for the VF Patriots  against rival, Parma Senior. The Patriots shot a 191 against Parma’s 226. The team was led by Captain, Olivia Nelson (45), as well as Danny Boy Przybysz (47), Isaac Rankin (49) and Alex Turko (50). Excellent job by this team as the wins continue to add up!!

September 3, The Patriots golf team defeated the Bedford Bearcats 184-258. The team was again led by Senior Chase Rieger who shot 41. Other team leaders were Senior Isaac Rankin (46), Freshmen Michael Jugler (48) and Junior Danny Przybysz (49). Coach Hartel after the match “This is an outstanding win for the program”!

The 2019 golf season looks very promising for the Patriots under first year coach Mitch Hartel.  As a whole, the program has a total of 17 golfers, up from 4 the previous year.  The Varsity team is led by Seniors Olivia Nelson, Chase Rieger and Isaac Rankin.  Nelson is the Captain of the golf team, as she
